Full Description
{1} Archaeological watching brief undertaken in 2001 as part of the wider archaeological investigations at Bozeat Quarry identified part of a pit alignment aligned approz north-south and comprising eight sub-rectangular pits. The alignment presumably extended northwards beyond the excavation area. Pottery was only recovered from one pit comprising small sherds of grog-tempered ware that was not closely dateable.
