Summary
The vestiges of a former bread oven of a type commonly located within an inglenook fireplace from the 17th century were observed in a boundary wall, indicating a house once stood in this location.

Full Description
{1} At the front of the plot the east boundary wall to the plot was seen to contain the vestiges of a former bread-oven, such as is commonly located within an inglenook fireplace from the 17th century onwards. The plot may therefore once have served two houses: the existing no 5 and an adjacent cottage, now lost;
{2] The remains of a wall-mounted bread oven in a boundary wall indicated that there was formerly another frontage building on Badby Road;
