Summary

Archaeological observation during groundworks for an extension to 35 Deenethorpe identified a posthole contained a single sherd of medieval pottery and a path probably associated with the current building

Full Description

{1} A linear stone feature which may represent a path relating to the early 19th-century building was found surrounded by mortar and stone rubble containing medieval and early post-medieval pottery. This mortar and stone rubble layer was overlying a post hole which contained medieval pottery dating from 1225-1400
