Full Description
{1} Archaeological observation was undertaken during groundworks for an extension. A linear stone feature of uncertain function was identified. It was associated with pottery dating from 1100 to 1400. It was aligned north-west to south-east and may have turned to the west at the northern end. An undated gully was aligned parallel to the stone feature and may have been contemporary.
A small group of postholes and may have been contemporary, although modern pottery was found in one and late medieval to post-medieval was found when cleaning. They were found in close proximity to the house and may be related to its occupation.
