Abstract/Summary

This document provides the results of a programme of Observation, Investigation, Recording, Analysis & Publication (Watching Brief) during groundworks for a house extension at 34 Deenethorpe, Northamptonshire in accordance with National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) (Section 12 Enhancing and Conserving the Historic Environment). The results of the work show archaeological features were present within the proposed development area, comprising the remains of a medieval stone feature, parallel gully and post medieval post holes. The archaeology was covered with a layer of post-medieval rubble.
