Summary

This site includes a house that is situated on the eastern side of Duke Street. The building was constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a double pitched tiled roof during the early 19th century. In the south facing gable is a reset datestone of 1698 that was found in the garden of Greyston House.

Full Description

{1} Hazeldene, two storeys, probably two class 4c (Houses with one stack at gable end of single room plan), dwellings now united, early 19th-century. Reset in gable, panel with inscription and date '1698', found in the garden of Greyston House.
