Summary

This site includes a late 18th/early 19th century house attached to the north of Hazeldene, on the eastern side of Duke Street. The house is constructed of squared coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and brick chimney stacks and a double pitch slate roof. The street facade has a first floor two window range of small horizontal sliding sashes, above two similar larger windows that flank a central door.

Full Description

House. Late C18/early C19. Squared coursed limestone with Colleyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2-window range, of horizontal sliding sashes, under wood lintels. C20 plank door under wood lintel. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ends. Room to left of entrance is full hieght, room to right has ceiling beams. Included for group value.
