Summary

Two 19th century barns associated with The Farmhouse are situated on the south eastern side of Blatherwycke Road. The barns are orientated perpendicular to the road with the gable of the northern barn abutting the road. The road facing barn is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch pantile roof with a projecting parapet on kneelers. Small sash windows are situated on the right of the ground floor and between the second floor and attic. A worn datestone can be seen in the gable apex but is indecipherable. To the south east is a second barn that is slightly higher with a shallow, double pitch slate roof. This barn is also constructed of rubble and has an elliptical arch to the doorway facing the yard and ventilation holes on the long walls. A third building abuts the south eastern corner of the barns and a lower, single story building has been constructed to the south west of the road gable, creating a large L plan of buildings. During the 20th century the barns and buildings were converted into houses to form Nottinghams Yard.
