Summary

A 17th century house with 19th century alterations and additions is situated on the eastern side of the High Street. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch slate roof with ashlar and brick chimney stacks at the gable ends. The building is two storeys high with an attic range lit by two gabled roof dormer windows. The entrance front has a three window range of casements to the first floor over a central door flanked by two windows that have been reduced in size. The right return has the remains of a gable to a demolished house and attached to the rear is a bake house.

Full Description

{1} Originally class 4a, early 17th-century. Altered in the early 19th century to give a class 6b plan, and heightened to two storeys and attics. Two-storey baskehouse at rear.
