Summary

A mid 19th century school building situated on the eastern side of the High Street. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and a double pitch slate roof with projecting gable parapets and kneelers. A stone lantern with a pointed finial is situated in the centre of the ridge of the roof. The High Street elevation has a central gabled main entrance porch with a two light stone mullioned window and an inscribed coat of arms in the apex. On the parapet is an ashlar chimney stack with two circular flues. Ether side of the entrance are single story entrance porches with hipped roofs and two light windows to the High Street. The right return has a large casement style window with stone mullions within a semi circular blank arch of gauged stone.
