Full Description
{1} Trial trench excavation identified an isolated pit. It contained 16 sherds of late Iron Age pottery, a small quantity of fired clay, charcoal, a heavily abraded cattle tooth and a charred sloe stone. The pit may represent peripheral activity to the late Iron Age settlement located c220m to the south.
