Summary
A group of Iron Age pits were identified during archaeological investigation prior to development. They were located some 50m to the south-west of a group of middle Iron Age enclosures.

Full Description
{1} A number of shallow pits containing Iron Age pottery were identified. The darker fills seen in these pits would tend to suggest manual backfilling, probably with rubbish or other such organic material. The pottery could only be broadly dated to the Iron Age period.
