Abstract/Summary

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) Northampton undertook excavation of a series of areas on land at Rockingham Forest Park, King’s Cliffe. The excavation uncovered part of a possible pit alignment, posthole structure, enclosures, quarrying and pits, all dating to the Iron Age, and a series of trackway and boundary ditches dating to the postmedieval period. A number of other undated features are also likely to relate to the post-medieval and/or modern use of the site.
