Full Description
{1} Geophyical survey undertaken in 2014 identified a possible small enclosure in the north-eastern part of the field surveyed. The response is weak and somewhat diffuse and sits quite symmetrically astride enclosure period field boundary C, to which it perhaps relates.
{2} A number of probable enclosures and other associated features such as postholes were identified during the trial trench excavation. In the north-eastern area there was a rectilinear enclosure and quantities of charcoal and pottery from the ditch fills suggest that there was domestic activity nearby.
