Summary

Archaeological excavation prior to housing development identified a small pit located c100m to the south of the middle Neolithic enclosure. It contained part of a Mortlake style bowl.

Full Description

{1} Archaeological excavation identified an isolated pit containing Middle Neolithic Peterborough Ware pottery, that was broadly contemporary with the human bone deposit to the north.
