Archaeological observation during the construction of footings for a new house identified a single medieval pit.

Full Description

{1} Levelling of the site prior to the excavation of footings for the buildings revealed a pit of medieval date cut into the natural subsoil near the south-west corner of the site. It also showed that the site has been previously terraced at its east end.
