Full Description

{1} There is a single gasometer marked on the 1952 OS map on a wharf near the Grand Junction Canal
between Bugbrooke and Heyford. It is reported to have once been a former gasworks, but historical coverage in the area is poor. The gasworks were reported to have closed in 1960. The site may have been a gasholder station associated with the nearby gasworks in Weedon.
