Full Description
{1} A level 2 building recording survey was carried out prior to alteration of the stone farm buildings. The three adjoining buildings form a T-shape with the remains of the threshing barn and the shelter shed to the south and the cow house to the north. Only the northern and western walls of the threshing barn survive to any height; the roof has gone. There are blocked rectangular and triangular ventilation slits in the western wall and blocked barn doorway in the northern wall. While the barn still retained its roof, an RCHME survey dated it to the 17th century. The cow house and shelter shed were both added at some time in the second half of the 19th century.
