{1} A level 2 building recording survey was undertaken prior to the conversion of the barn to residential use. The barn was probably constructed for agricultural storage for the Bulwick Estate in the late 18th/early 19th century. By the 1960s it is annotated on Ordnance Survey maps as 'Builder's Yard' used for the maintenance of the Bulwick Estate. It is a two-storey building of coursed limestone with a clay-tiled roof. There are two rooms on the ground floor and a single room on the first floor.
