Archaeological trial trench excavation identified two ditches in adjacent trenches; one was undated other than a flint flake dating to the Neolithic-early Bronze Age and Roman pottery was found in the other.

Full Description

{1} Archaeological trial trench excavation identified a rounded ditch terminal or pit in Trench 31 from which a single flint flake dating to the Neolithic-early Bronze Age was recovered. In Trench 32, there was a ditch aligned north-east to south-west. The ditch possibly marked a field boundary and contained pottery dating c.AD40–410.
