Summary
The Cottingham Road Bridge was built as part of the Midland Railway's Kettering to Manton line in 1879. The Cottingham Road Bridge is a brick-built underbridge of a standard design, with slightly projecting raking and straight wing walls. The London stock brickwork has been patched in various areas with engineering brick and both parapets appear to have been entirely rebuilt.
