Summary
Geophysical survey and trial trench excavation on land to the south of Groveland farm identified two ring ditches and part of an enclosure. Apart from a small number of worked flints and an unstratified sherd of Iron Age pottery, no finds were recovered.

Full Description
{1} Geophysical survey and trial trench excavation were undertaken in 2013 on land south of Grovelands Farm. The geophysical survey identified two circular ring ditches, the corner of a rectilinear enclosure and a possible boundary ditch. One ring ditch was evaluated by a trial trench but no finds were recovered. The corner of the enclosure was also evaluated, but again no finds were recovered.
