Full Description

{1} A detailed magnetometer survey was undertaken around Little Weldon villa. Along the southern boundary of the site, a semi-circular anomaly was detected (the southern half of the feature appears to have been truncated by the A427). The prominent hilltop position suggests that it may be a Bronze Age round barrow. However, given the truncated nature of the feature as well as significant disturbance in the vicinity, any interpretation is tenuous.
