Full Description

{1} The shop was constructed in 1850. The 1868 Whelan's Directory describes it as a tailor, draper and grocery. The shop remained as a grocery/general store until at least the mid 20th century. Latterly it was an antiques shop until it was converted into a private house in the mid 1970s. [Included as a feature of local heritage interest on the neighbourhood plan.]
