Built in 1762-3 after the original meeting house burnt down. A schoolroom was added in 1887. The manse and a burial ground are located to the north.

Full Description

{1} The Baptist Chapel was built in 1762-3 after the original meeting house (which was probably a barn owned by the blacksmith's) burnt down. It was extended in 1887 to include a schoolroom and 1897 new seating and a hot water system were introduced. Included as a feature of local heritage interest on the neighbourhood plan.
