Romano Greek coin bought in Africa after World War II, and subsequently lost. It was found and recorded mistakenly as a Gold coin of Trajan.

{1} (SP 810521) Gold coin of Trajan. E D Bailey.

{2} Mr P Scrimshaw, 14 School Lane, Spratton, (a local informant) states that this coin - which is silver not gold and Roman/Greek, was brought from N Africa as a personal momento after the 1939-45 war. It was lost and some time later picked up by Bailey.
