Full Description

{1} An earth resistance survey was conducted on land to the west of St Peter's churchyard. The survey detected several anomalies which could be indicative of archaeological features, the most definite of which are in the westernmost of the fields surveyed. The low resistance anomalies in this field probably represent ditches; both Roman and Saxon finds have previously been recorded in this field. In the field immediately to the east, a rough U-shaped high resistance anomaly may indicate the presence of a building.
