Summary

Cairn with rectangular stone fixed to front. Erected in 1998 to the memory of three aircrew who were killed when Lancaster DV361 of 207 Squadron crashed nearby on 22nd December 1943. The crash site was somewhere close to Luscotes Lodge.

Full Description

{1} Cairn with rectangular stone fixed to front. Metal inscription plaque fixed to the top. The stone has a simple cross carved on the front. The plaque records the names of the three aircrew who lost their lives nearby on 22nd December 1943.
