Full Description

{1} Corner of Broad Street/Bull Head Lane. Dated to c1880. A three storey factory building with basements. Built from brick with slate roof. Small-paned cast iron window frames. Large doors at ground floor entrance and inside cobbles and loading stages. There are exterior doors on the top two storeys. Fairly recent beams for hoist. The chimney is in an unusual position (possibly associated with the forge of the previous owners?). Just disceranble from the faded paint above the first floor level is the writing 'General Engineering'.
[Now demolished]

{3} In 1899, it was Dorman Engineering Co Cycle Works.
