Summary

Former cinema, built in 1919 by Alexander Anderson. In the 1990s the façade was demolished and the building used for retail. A ceramic gable was retained and has been set into a wall immediately to the south.

Full Description

{1} A ceramic gable with the date 1919 was saved when the Coliseum Picture House was demolished. By Anderson. [only the façade was demolished]

{2} The Coliseum still stands but the façade has been removed and the building converted to retail. The pediment from the facade has been preserved in the wall in front of the adjacent buildings.
