Summary
A gallows is depicted on Eyre's 1770s map of the county. It is not depicted on later maps appears to have gone out of use by 1818. The gallows was moved to the County Gaol.

Full Description
{1} A gallows is depicted on the west side of Kettering Road opposite what is now Kingsley Road.
{2} When the fields were enclosed the gallows that had previously been located at Abington was moved to a location at the Racecourse. It lasted until 1818 when it was relocated to the County Gaol.
