Summary

A 148m length of railway embankment survives in an area of overgrown land between Beckett's Park and Morrisons Supermarket. The embankment is the only surviving section of the 1872 Bedford to Northampton line in the town.

Full Description

{1, 2} The railway was completed in 1872 and terminated at St John's Station. The earthwork embankment is clearly visible on lidar imagery and is the only surviving section in the town.
