Full Description

{1} Along the south side of the present main road north west of the village is a large bank now ploughed over, 10-12m across and 0.5m high. This is the south side of the holllow way of the pre-enclosure road which was straightened and moved a little to the north in 1793. The bank is also the headland on which adjacent ridge and furrow ended.
