Monument record 174/0/1 - Village Stocks

Site of medieval stocks located at the southern end of the village near The Rose and Crown Inn. The name is still retained although the stocks themselves have long since been destroyed.

{1} "The ancient stocks (at Charlton SP 5235) have been almost entirely destroyed."
