Monument record 374/2 - Medieval Manor (Giffords Manor)

Two manors mentioned at Hellidon from 13th century onward. This is thought to be the site of Giffords Manor. Earthworks exist in an area known to be abandoned by the late 18th century. Remains of the N. part of a rectangular enclosure. Possible former building site identified though much disturbed by quarrying. [RCHM plan].
