Full Description

{1} Stone coffin in garden of church office, at SP69364869. Not in situ, broken into 4 parts, until recently sited in church porch. Probably medieval.

{2} A record was made of a stone coffin reputed to have been dug up in Victorian times and until recently kept in the church porch. The coffin, hewn from a single block of limestone but now in four fragments and missing part of one side and its end, is 2.21m long and contains a head-niche. Its form suggests a medieval origin.
