Full Description

{1}Trial excavation carried out in July 1989 by S. Parry. 5 trenches were cut down to the limestone bedrock: 4 contained small pits associated with modern pottery and T3 revealed 2 larger pits up to 1.3m deep. Site is a possible late medieval limestone quarry, with a possible boundary formed by a hedge
