Full Description

{2} Tenement B yielded 2 main structures of cross-passage design with a large hearth and stone-lined pit or trough. A small room later linked these two, with a further building containing a baking oven joined in front and a malt-house at the back.

{3} The presence of several discrete tenements was defined by low building platforms set around a central yard (marked A to E on Fig.1.5b).
