{1}Concentration of pottery to the east of Cotton Lane may represent the presence of a frontage along the southern side of the street to Ringstead. The presence of late medival pottery sherds indicates that occupation continued until at least the 15th century on the site.
{8} All artefacts recovered were found by metal detector within the topsoil.
