Abstract/Summary

Planning Permission has been granted for construction of new fishing facilities on land adjacent to the River Nene off Station Road, west of Ringstead village. The facilities comprise of two new annular ponds, each retaining a central island. The proposals affect the surviving parts of Mill Cotton settlement, where important archaeological deposits and remains are anticipated to survive.
