Full Description
{1} Features recorded during building development. A 4m length of shallow gully was exposed during site levelling work. Two irregular hollows were also noted. Scattered light sandy rings could have been stake holes but are more likely due to roots or animal burrows, as are less regular dark patches of similar size. Grading had removed these levels further south. A few large, probably Iron Age pot sherds, including some with scored decoration, came from one of the hollows.
