Full Description

{1} Features observed during a road development included a medieval wall and a possible hearth; medieval pottery sherds were recovered; information from G. Foard 1976.

{2} SP849604. Medieval sherds were collected after road widening. Traces of limestone walling, and a possible hearth, seen in the cutting, appear to be related to stone scatters in the neighbouring field to the north-west. G.R.Foard.

{4} Medieval pottery, traces of walling and a possible hearth have been found south-west of the church (at SP849604) and other medieval sherds have been recorded from elsewhere in the vicinity of the village.
