Full Description

{1} Remains have been investigated of completely destroyed dwellings of the late C12th and C13th.

{2} A number of indeterminate ditches containing early C12th and C13th pottery have been found which were said to be the remains of destroyed dwellings.

{3} Remains have been investigated of completely destroyed dwellings of the late C12th and C13th, only ditches remaining. They possibly formed part of Crowthorp DMV.

{4} The remains of the C12th-C13th buildings (recorded as TL08NW39) may have formed part of the village (Crowthorpe DMV), but no evidence for desertion was seen in the area.
