{1}FLDWKG; OCT 1991; M.WEBSTER; 15+ FLINTS & 100+ RB SHERDS OFPOTTERY (1);

{2} Field WR4 was entirely walked in October 1991. The finds included 16 worked flints and 89 sherds of Romano-British pottery. There was a concentration of Romano-British pottery towards the centre of the western side of the field. The pottery spanned the Roman period, including a small amount of definitely late Roman C4th material. No other concentrations were defined.
