Full Description

{1} Bank and ditch earthwork observed. (RFP Rapid Survey?)

{3} Earthwork rampart of the medieval deer park is traceable for most of its length. The park pale is best preserved on the east side. From SP953896 to SP951900 the bank is 1.5m high and 5m wide. Along the east side from SP951900 to SP946906 the bank is up to 2m high and 8m wide with an internal ditch. Plan: Fig 147.
