Full Description

{1}Early-middle Saxon features & pot sherds excavated by D.N.Hall during work at St Mary's Church;

{2} The churchyard, Wollaston. Exploratory trenches to establish the layout of the Norman chancel yielded a small group of pottery, including late Saxon hand-made sherds.

{4} Medieval pottery, including some late Saxon hand-made sherds, were discovered during trenching near Wollaston Church (SP 908631).
