Full Description

{2} Pits and ditches containing Iron Age pottery have been noted on the ground around and to the south of these cropmarks, and a bone needle and a possible loom weight have also been discovered.

{3} Area of SP 828584 and SP 828582. Pits and ditches producing Iron Age pottery, a bone needle and a possible loom weight identified by excavation and after ploughing 1962. Site name: Denton Hill.
