Find Spot record 3519/0/4 - Unstratified Romano-British Pottery

Fieldwalking survey found Roman pottery.

{1} Fieldwalking has recovered Romano-British pot sherds at SP 895 602.

{2} A scatter of Roman pottery over about 10 sq. m has been found. It may be an extension of Site 6 or associated with it.

{4} Mr Hall feels this site is either an extension or associated with the site to its immediate S (SP 85 NE3)

{5} Analysis of Hall's fieldwalking data

{6} A Roman settlement found. Pottery sherds compriding Belgic bead rim, coarse shelly storage jar rims, carinated Belgic body fragments and a castorware sherd.
