Abstract/Summary
The thesis utilises David Hall's fieldwalking data, as well as data from excavation and surveys, as part of a wider case study of the Iron Age and Roman landscapes of the Nene and Lower Welland Valleys. Appendix 4 includes quantification of Iron Age/Roman finds from Hall's fieldwalking.
