Find Spot record 3537/0/0 - Unstratified Romano-British Pottery & Building Stone

Surface finds of Romano-British pottery and building stone discovered in an area of cropmarks.

{1} Fieldwalking survey identified building stone and Roman pottery;

{3} RB pottery found at SP 886630 and RB pottery and building stone at SP 889633.

{4} Cropmarks (seen by) R Hollowell August 1964 at (SP 887632)

{5} APs show slight cropmarks at SP 887632.

{6} Mr Hall said the finds were as and where noted above, and the cropmarks extend SW into the adjacent field linking with those noted there. (SP 86 SE10)
